Stephen M. Sirota
Mr. Sirota is an accomplished litigator and transactional attorney. Before re-entering private practice, Mr. Sirota was general counsel for a national insurance company. Mr. Sirota obtained his B.A. from University of California at Santa Barbara (1978) and his juris doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law (1981). Mr. Sirota is admitted to practice law in California and the United States District Court, Northern District.
Mr. Sirota practices in the area of civil litigation, insurance law, corporate law and business formations, estate planning and litigation, family law, employment law, real estate law, and civil torts, including defamation and unfair business practices.
Mr. Sirota has practiced in the Bay Area throughout his legal career and represented clients throughout the State of California. He is a voracious reader, a supporter of local businesses, and an avid fan of the arts, music, and creative works. He currently resides in San Francisco with his rescue dogs, Dolce and Laureant, and adopted cat, Hobbes.

Jennifer Abma
Jennifer Abma received her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. Her academic
achievements at USD Law include earning CALI Awards for both In-House Corporate Counseling and Corporate
Innovation & Legal Policy. She served as Comment Editor for and published in the San Diego International Law
Journal with a paper on international supply chains. As president of the USD Intellectual Property Law Association
she led the group to win the Student Organization of the Year Award. She has a bachelor’s degree from Tulane
University with a major in neuroscience.
Ms. Abma is a skilled intellectual property professional and former biotechnology specialist. Her practice covers a
range of trademark, copyright, branding, civil litigation as well as business contract, e-commerce, and consumer
protection issues. She also serves as board member for non-profit Traveling Stories advocating for children’s
literacy. Ms. Abma is licensed to practice in California and admitted to Federal Court in the Central District of
California.

D. Alexander Floum
Mr. Floum is a seasoned litigator and transactional lawyer. Mr. Floum graduated from University of California Los Angeles in 1986 and earned his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1990. Mr. Floum is licensed to practice law before all State and Federal Courts throughout the State of California and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has written an amicus brief submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Floum practices in the areas of intellectual property, entertainment law, business law, and technology and international agreements. As a transactional lawyer, he has extensive experience in trademark applications globally, copyright applications for software, music, books, photographs and all other works, trademark, copyright and patent license and assignment agreements, licensing agreements for every industry and every type of property, and all of the other contracts which a client needs. As a litigator, Mr. Floum represents clients in all aspects of civil litigation and dispute resolution involving business, real estate, construction and intellectual property matters in all courts, government hearings, arbitrations and mediations.
In addition to achieving excellence in the practice of law, Mr. Floum taught trademark and related areas of law for several years to both practicing lawyers and law school students as an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University Law School. He was the founding president of the Intellectual Property Section of the Contra Costa County Bar Association. He is a current member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
Mr. Floum is an enthusiastic runner, an adventurous wine maker, and an accomplished singer and guitar player. He enjoys travel and spending time with his family. Mr. Floum resides in Walnut Creek, California with his wife, two daughters and an array of family pets.
