California and New York law now require many employers to conduct effective sexual harassment training to its employees. This includes independent contractors, interns, volunteers, and seasonal employees. The law is rapidly evolving in this area and will likely change again.

Ms. Johns provides anti-sexual harassment and anti-bullying training to companies through California to ensure compliance with current California and New York guidelines. She also provides advanced anti- sexual harassment, anti-bullying and dispute resolution classes to companies. Her classes include the following subjects. Each company which successfully completes Ms. Johns’ class will receive a certificate of compliance, five follow up consultations from supervisory staff, and digital materials.

  • The elements of an effective anti-harassment policy and how to use it;
  • “Abusive conduct” under Government Code section 12950.1, subdivision (g)(2);
  • Discuss harassment based upon gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, which shall include practical examples of harassment based on gender identity, gender
    expression, and sexual orientation;
  • Effective methods to prevent harassment and create a healthy workplace environment.
